Today was just a normal Sunday. Woke up at noon and just ended up lying around.
Last night I was talking to Jessica, and she got a pen-pal from over seas. Well it's not just any pen-pal, it's a soldier stationed in Iraq. The awsome thing is, he's the same age as her and is single. When she told me that, I was like, 'Well if he send's you a picture of himself, and he's hot would you freak out?' She like, 'YES!' I thought that was so cool. She said that when soldier's have pen-pals like that; when they come home they search to find their pen-pal to meet them. She sent me the link explaining it, but she forgot I was 5 years younger than her, and they don't draft people my age lol.
I was reading people's blog's today. It's so cool reading about other people live's. I found this one where the woman's mother had gotten cancer, and each of her posts was about how she was dealing with it, and how her mother was doing. Her last post was yesterday, and it said how she got the best Christmas present ever, her mom came home from the hospital. While I was reading it I was thinking, Wow it's so unbelievable what some people go through, and how they have to deal with it - along with their normal daily things.
I read a mans blog, and it was kind of sad. I think he is one of the strongest people I've heard about. He had gone through so much medical stuff, and his skin died and thing's we all normally do were chore's for him, like going to the restroom. But when I was reading some of his posts, not in one of them was he upset or sad for himself. That man truely did love life, he took nothing for granted. He just loved his family so much, I couldn't believe he was as happy and strong as he is after going through everything.
Tomorrow I'm going up near Northville to a hotel to visit my family. I'm not real excited, were only staying till Tuesday though. When we go to these family things, my brother and I alway's feel real awkward because were Holland's and their all Flayer's. Most of them are really rich, and from the upper cities when were from a little town, and are getting by fine. I'm going to be with my cousin Bethany, she's a cheerleader, a little annoying. She's the kind of girl with the little purse full of makeup, the really skinny 'Oh my gosh I broke a nail' type. I love her of course because she's my cousin, but if she wasn't I know she would be the type of person I couldn't stand.
The new Troy movie comes out in 9 days. Olivia, Emily and I are going to have a Troy party. Yes, I know it sound's stupid, but were looking forward to it. We were laughing when we invited some guys to it, we told them there was going to be a lot of pausing at the Brad close up's and a lot of girl talk. They just kind of stared at us, it was really funny. We were thinking about going into Planet Video and asking for some of the Troy sign's their going to put up. I think it would be funny to just casually walk out with one under your arm, but that's just me.
Well, until probably Tuesday night, TaTa! And Merry one day late Christmas!
